Singer song writer and Danish folk-diva No. 1 Helene Blum has formed one of Scandinavia’s busiest and finest folk bands with virtuoso fiddler and composer Harald Haugaard. In recent years they have established themselves as outstanding interpreters and innovators of the Danish music tradition. Their own newly written material is mixed gently with original interpretations of old songs and instrumental pieces. Their integrity is outstanding and their great virtuosity and presence helps to make their concerts unforgettable. In 2019 they celebrate their 10^th anniversary as performing artists together with a number of concerts in Europe and North America.

They have won the prestigious European folk music award Eisener Eversteiner and when they opened Danish Tønder Festival in August 2014 with a thrilling concert, the headline in the Danish daily newspaper ”Jyske Vestkysten” simply was: ”Musical Fireworks”.
