With the resurgence of Nordic culture back into the mainstream, so comes with it a stigma of racism and fear. Why are we seeing Odin’s Runes at hate speech rallies? Is the person wearing the Thor’s Hammer a neo Nazi? Were the Vikings inherently racist?

The Simple answer is “No” The Complex answer is what we’re going to talk about, and how we can further divorce Nordic culture from a co-opted, sinister past.
