This is the Skandia dance class for everybody who is new to Scandinavian dancing or wants to review the basics. Bob Hamilton, Lisa Brooks, and other instructors will go over how to turn and will teach fun basic dances, including schottis, snoa, waltz, Slängpolska, and easy mixers. Beginners and experienced dancers are welcome; this class will focus on beginners.
Singles and couples are welcome; we switch partners frequently. Come when you can; no need to register or attend all classes.
Wear smooth-soled shoes with a low flat heel for easy turning.
