Come in from the cold​​ for a concert that will warm your heart.

How quickly summer leaves us, and we are touched once again by cold winter nights.

Find respite from the chill for a few hours on December 7 and 8 at the Magnolia Chorale winter concert—“Cold Is the Night: Scandinavian Carols”. The program is brimming with snowy carols from Scandinavia that will warm your heart. From the bright yoiks of Finland, to the energetic folksongs of Norway, to traditional tunes from Sweden and Denmark, the lush harmonies and gentle melodies will conjure up the delightful nostalgia of the holidays.

To add to the fun, the Seattle Lilla Spelmanslag, a young folkloric string orchestra, will share their love of Scandinavian folk music through their lively accompaniment. This talented group of young musicians will add to the cozy warmth of the evening no matter the temperature outside.
