Ancient Norwegian stevtoner and folk songs meld with updated harmonies to create a timeless musical experience. Mostly Nordic favorite from Norway, Knut Erik Jensen returns to perform Klaus Egge's ethereal Piano Concerto No. 2 with the Seattle Philharmonic Strings under the direction of Adam Stern as well as Johan Kvandal's arrangements of stevtoner with soprano Laura Loge. Ballard Seafood Fest
SeafoodFest began in 1974 as a community celebration of Ballard’s historic connection to the fishing industry and the neighborhood’s Nordic roots.
