9:00 am | Cost: $5.00

In the tradition of the Seven Mountain Hike in Bergen, Norway, the Seattle-Bergen Sister City Association invites you to walk the Seven Hills of Seattle.

Stops include:

  • Seattle’s most-popular view on Queen Anne Hill
  • Denny Park and old Norway Hall near Denny Hill
  • Cal Anderson Park and German church on Capitol Hill
  • Seven Hills Park on Second Hill (Renton Hill)
  • Swedish Medical Center on First Hill (Pill Hill)
  • Harborview Medical Center near Yesler Hill (Profanity Hill)
  • Washington Hall in Squire Park neighborhood
  • Former Marine Hospital and Rizal Park on Beacon Hill

Beginning at Kerry Park Viewpoint on Queen Anne’s West Highland Drive (between 2nd and 3rd Avenues West), your guide and host Daniel Kaylor will discuss Seattle’s history and visit Scandinavian (and some not-so Scandinavian) landmarks. No-host lunch at Swedish Medical Center or bring your own. After finishing at Beacon Hill (approx. 3:15 PM), we return to Queen Anne Hill by Metro bus. From Downtown take Metro bus routes 2 or 13 to Queen Anne Ave. N & Highland Dr. Walk several blocks west.

NOTE: This is a slow-paced 6.5 mile walk with numerous stops. You may choose to walk 3, 4, or 7 hills. Transportation will be arranged.

Your $5.00 registration fee includes coffee and Scandinavian bakery treat.

Registration may also be paid on the day of the event, but we encourage your early RSVP.
