Blueberry Soup is an extraordinary documentary at the epicenter of one of this centuries most inspiring democratic movements: “The Icelandic People’s Movement”. The film is a deeply touching account of an empowered nation re-envisioning democracy through the drafting of its constitution.

Director Eileen Jerrett will be in person to intrdouce the movies and conduct a post-screening Q and A!

Blueberry Soup has played a role in garnering international attention for the Icelandic experiment in civic engagement, inspiring a series of new movements abroad. The film has been shown in universities around the world and continues to be the primary archive of the Icelandic constitutional reform process.
