Finlandia Foundation National Performer of the Year, saxophonist Juli Wood, has been a fixture on the Chicago jazz scene for 25 years and has appeared on stage at Finland’s Pori Jazz Festival and Storyville club in Helsinki, infuses traditional Finnish folk tunes with her unique, jazzy style.
