We are partnering with local artist Frida Clements and our friends at Seattle Chocolate and Ballard Alliance to cozy up our community!

It’s time to pick up your knitting needles and help spread a bit of color and joy in Ballard this holiday season. Bring your knitting supplies & enjoy holiday drinks and chocolate as we work together to create a knit installation inspired by the work of Frida Clements. Crocheters welcome, too! This is a great way to give new life to a UFO that’s been taking up space in your stash.

Your knitted work will then be installed in Bergen Place in Ballard to spread warmth and cheer all season long! The Nordic will also be hosting a sweater drive to help keep our neighbors warm. Please bring any lightly used sweaters, hats, mittens, or scarves you’d like to donate.
