Paper Dialogues: The Dragon and Our Stories
The artistic collaboration between Bit Vejle and Xiaoguang Qiao examines the art of papercutting through the common motif of the dragon. Their transnational approach lent itself to an exhibition that has engaged audiences around the world. Also on display will be the works of Layla May Arthur and Emma Reid.

Through this intergenerational, transnational exhibition, the National Nordic Museum engages a diverse audience in a dialogue about the ways in which our identities are informed by family history and heritage. M(other) Tongues features the work of Janelle and Lisa Iglesias as “Las Hermanas Iglesias” in collaboration with their mother, fiber artist Bodhild Brendryen Iglesias.
