This class will focus on the basic and frequently done turning dances, including schottis, waltz, snoa, hambo, and mixers. You will learn to turn easily with a partner while having fun. Beginners, singles, and couples welcome! We change partners frequently. Wear smooth soles for turning (leather is best, not running shoes) with flat heels. This 4-week class series focuses on polskas from Dalarna, including the Bingsjo polska, and Rattvik polska, both from eastern Dalarna. Come to learn or review these favorites leading up to the Skandia Ball on Nov 2. $35 for Skandia members for the 4-week series $40 for non-members.
