The music of Fru Skagerrak will take you on a journey through Scandinavia;
from lowlands to mountains, from slow airs to lively polkas, in major and in minor, and everything in between. Fru Skagerrak—”Lady Skagerrak”—consists of three master musicians, one from each Scandinavian country: Maja Kjær Jacobsen from Denmark, Elise Wessel Hildrum from Norway, and Anna Lindblad from Sweden. The trio is fresh from a summer
where they were popular instructors and performers at Fiddle Tunes in Port Townsend and also launched a new project called Scandinavian String Alliance, touring in Seattle and
Canada together with Kristian Bugge and Morten Alfred Høirup.
